no doubt i'll be proud of myself for leaving the first comment. but the reality will soon set in that, no matter how much i extend my ehand in hopes of reaching communal validation, it will be ignored b/c, lo, i'm too far removed from things, and have no hope of ever getting a quote of the day attributed to bp. this sort of metatextual comment was brought to you by reading the last entry under the influence of M83...tread carefully here.

Frond, sometimes you might as well be writing in German - I get a few words or phrases here and there, but not enough for a cohesive idea to come through. This time I probably got about 40-50% of what you might have been trying to say, which is a good score for most of your entries lately, but still . . . and, HELLO! I do NOT appreciate the MUCH in "much older" - need I remind you that I was with you both times you saw GGDs and I've seen your closet shrine to JR and I'm not afraid to talk about it - so you just watch it with your MUCHamunches!

The Goo Goo Dolls...I was there for #1. And we actually were quite entertained...not by their performance, but by our own crude and might I say hilarious jokes about the crazy not Johnny Reznik one. But, more importantly, not only have you seen the Goo Goo Dolls...you have seen ROXETTE!!! And that totally rules and is a little bit Dangerous.
